Filming wrapped on April 18 for the drama "Reborn of the Rightful" (Yao Yao You Qi, Scheme of the Official Descendant, 嫡谋, 窈窈有期).

The lead roles in the series are played by He Yu ("Speed and Love", "Dashing Youth") and Bao Shang En ("Generation to Generation", "Whispers of Fate"). Filming began in late December 2025 and lasted approximately four months. The series premiere is scheduled for 2026 on the streaming platform iQiyi.

"Reborn of the Rightful" is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name. The main heroine, Ren Yao Qi (played by Bao Shang En), was a pawn of her family in her previous life, married off to a eunuch, which led to the death of her loved ones. She dies, taking her enemies with her. But fate gives her a second chance: Ren Yao Qi wakes up five years in the past and decides to change the future at all costs, protect her family, and take revenge on those who wronged her.

On this path, she meets Xiao Jing Xi (played by He Yu), the second son of the Prince of Yanbei. He is an aristocrat with a reputation for being a frail and sickly youth, yet behind this mask hides a true strategist and schemer who conceals his sharp mind. Joining forces, the protagonists untangle a web of family secrets and state conspiracies, ultimately seeking personal happiness and peace for the people.

The drama is expected to have 40 episodes.
