The romantic drama «Blossom through the Cloud» (Fly To My Heart, 飞到我心上) has officially set its premiere date.

The 24-episode series will hit screens on August 31, 2026, across two platforms. Episodes will begin streaming at 12:00 PM on Mango TV, followed by an evening broadcast at 8:40 PM local time on Hunan TV as part of the network's Golden Eagle Prime Time slot.

Advance viewing reservations across all platforms have already surpassed 1.8 million.

The drama stars Liu Xiening («Perfect Match», «Night of Love With You») and Wei Zheming («Love Beyond the Grave», «You Are My Fateful Love»).

The series is adapted from Qiao Yao's novel «Landing On My Heart». The heroine Ruan Sixian (Liu Xiening) works as a flight attendant for Hengshi Airlines and dreams of becoming a pilot.

When the company cancels its internal pilot training programme, she tries to secure a meeting with vice president Fu Mingyu (Wei Zheming), but he mistakenly interprets her persistence as an attempt to form a personal connection with him.

Offended by the misunderstanding, she resigns, enrolls in flight academy, and spends three years training. She returns to the same airline – this time as the top graduate. Fu Mingyu, tasked with recruiting talented pilots, is forced to swallow his pride and offer her a contract.

Filming took place from June to September 2025 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The project received support from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Radio and Television as a significant contemporary urban production. Special attention was paid to aviation authenticity: the production team built a full-scale Boeing 737 cockpit replica and brought in active pilots as technical consultants.

Leading actress Liu Xiening underwent pilot training to prepare for the role and learned to operate the instrument panel.
