On April 8, 2026, «The Moment I Met You» (不遇云裳不遇你) releases on Tencent Video.

The series combines the genres of romantic comedy, adventure, and historical detective. Filming took place in Hengdian from June 3 to August 5, 2023.

At the center of the plot is a tangled love story between a hereditary criminal catcher and a leader of thieves.

The main character, Mao Bu Yu (Ren Hao), comes from a family of bounty hunters. To get a promotion and remove the shackles of family prohibitions on marriage, he vows to catch the elusive leader of the thieves' clan. The problem is that his beloved - the modest flower seller Chu Yun Shang (Song Yi Ren) - is that very mysterious leader.

Now the girl has to constantly balance between two personalities: by day she is gentle and caring, but by night she is a kingpin of the criminal underworld. The main intrigue of the drama is: who will catch whom in this trap?

Ren Hao («Better Halves», «Everlasting Longing»), a former member of the popular boy band R1SE, has been actively building a film career in recent years. In this drama, he appears as a "rough" bounty hunter, at times with stubble, which is the complete opposite of his usual role as a gentle handsome hero.

Song Yi Ren («Love Formula», «My Special Girl») returns from modern dramas to historical fantasy. The actress faces the difficult task of embodying two opposite images.

Viewers can expect thrilling chase scenes and acrobatic fights, humorous situations where the hero tries to catch himself, unaware that his girlfriend is the target, as well as chemistry between the lead actors, for whom this project is an important milestone in their careers.
