Filming for the drama «A Touch Of Green» (Wu Li Qing, 雾里青) officially concluded on 8 August 2026 in Shenzhen.

The lead roles are played by Li Xian («Will Love in Spring», «Flourished Peony») and Zhang Jingyi («Legend of Zang Hai», «Lighter and Princess»).

The story is based on the novel of the same name by Ming Kai Ye He and centres on the relationship between ceramic artist Chen Qing Wu (played by Zhang Jingyi) and the Meng brothers.

Chen Qing Wu believed she would eventually marry Meng Qi Ran – the two had known each other since childhood, and she was deeply in love with him. Meng Qi Ran is a bright, free-spirited and passionate musician who shuns stability and responsibility, taking Chen Qing Wu’s love for granted while prioritising music and freedom. In the end,

Chen Qing Wu realises they are not suited for each other and decides to break off the relationship, devoting herself fully to developing her ceramics studio.

Li Xian plays the elder brother Meng Fu Yuan, a successful founder of a tech company, but reserved and guarded about his feelings. For years, Meng Fu Yuan has secretly loved Chen Qing Wu but never dared to confess, as he always regarded her as his younger brother’s fiancée.

Filming lasted 98 days and took place in Guangzhou and subsequently in various locations across Guangdong province. A party was held to mark the conclusion of production, with fans in attendance. Brands endorsed by Li Xian sent their congratulations and promotional materials in support of the wrap. Li Xian also treated the entire cast and crew to drinks and cake.

The series is currently in post-production. Its premiere is expected to take place on the streaming platform iQiyi, with a release slated for late 2026 or early 2027.
