Chinese dramas and films

Li Landi («The Starry Love», «Filter») and He Yu («Blossoms Of Power», «Be Passionately in Love») are reportedly set to star as the lead couple in the upcoming fantasy drama «Thousand Nights Tales» (Qian Ye Qi Tan, 千夜奇谭).

According to industry insiders, the casting has been finalized and production is gearing up to begin as early as August 15-20, 2026.

The series is adapted from the comic "The Psychic Princess."

Game developer Zhao Yi Ning works tirelessly at her company, but her arrogant boss Ye Yu Ming remains oblivious to her efforts, only piling on more work. 

One day, she finally snaps and lashes out at him. Soon after, Yi Ning unexpectedly finds herself transported into the very game she had been developing. She becomes the main character Qian Yun Si, the fiancee of a cold prince who bears an uncanny resemblance to her real-life boss. Her only way back to her own world is to eliminate this "boss".

Zhao Yi Ning accepts the mission assigned to her by the game system, but she repeatedly fails and discovers that her target is immortal.

If the casting news is confirmed, this will mark the first on-screen collaboration between Li Landi and He Yu.
