Chen Zheyuan responded to Chen Feiyu's story about hitting the gym at 2 AM

He also revealed he can't stand gym selfies.

In a recent interview tied to the promotion of the drama «Royal Betrothal» (Yu Ting Yao, 御廷谣), Chen Zheyuan fired back at Chen Feiyu.

A few months ago, Chen Feiyu told a story about how he randomly ran into Chen Zheyuan at the gym at 2 AM. There he was, pumping iron, minding his own business, when out of nowhere — footsteps."Who could possibly be here at this hour?" Turns out it was Chen Zheyuan.

Now, the same story has been told from the other side — and it almost sounds like a horror film.

"Feiyu is actually pretty funny," Chen Zheyuan began. "That day, I finished filming really late. The gym usually closes at 10 PM, so I asked my trainer to check with the owner if I could still come in. They said it wasn't closed yet — someone was still working out.

When I got there, the lights were off — pitch black — but the door was open.

I walked in, and as I walked, I didn't see anyone.

Then suddenly I bumped into Chen Feiyu.

No lights, no music — and he scared the hell out of me.

I said him, 'Dude! You are...'

But he looked great — he's really buff now."

The actor also admitted that he feels awkward posting gym photos online. What's more, he doesn't even like such photos posted by friends or acquaintances.

"I never like those kinds of pictures. Even if my trainer Tian Ming posts them — I still don't hit like.

Honestly, when you're scrolling through your feed and suddenly see some new contact posting that kind of stuff... the fact that I haven't unfriended or deleted them yet is already a blessing."
